A Guide to Using the QLess
Do I have to download an app?
No, the QLess app is not required. The business at which you are trying to join a line will provide you with a QR-code, text-to-join option, or optional in-person kiosk, allowing you to join the line in the way you find most convenient.
How do I download the app?
The QLess app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Simply search for “QLess,” or click the “Download App” button located on the top of our website.
Is the app free?

How do I join a line?
With QLess, you can join the line in a multitude of ways. Businesses have the option to provide their visitors with online links via their website, a text-to-join option (phone number is provided by business), or an optional on-site kiosk.
How do I know I have successfully joined a line?
Once you have joined the line, you will receive text message confirming that you have joined the line. This confirmation text will include your estimated wait time, as well as a list of commands you can use to update the business of your status. Some of these options include leaving the line, asking for more time, or letting the business know you’re on your way.
Do I need to create an account?
No, an account is not needed to join a line. QLess will identify you based on your cell phone number. Your identity and phone number are not shared with any others in line and is not stored in our databases.
